These Terms govern your purchase and use of LenguaChat. By buying or using it, you agree to them. LenguaChat is operated by 2nd Empire Media ("we," "us"). If you don't agree, please don't use the product.
LenguaChat is a browser add-on (userscript) that adds a translation panel to WhatsApp Web in your own browser. It lets you send messages translated into another language and shows translations of messages you receive. It is a personal-use convenience tool.
LenguaChat is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. "WhatsApp" is a trademark of its respective owner. LenguaChat works alongside WhatsApp Web; we don't control WhatsApp, and changes WhatsApp makes to its website may affect how LenguaChat works until we update it.
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LenguaChat for your own communications. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly repost the software, or remove its notices. The software is licensed, not sold.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card details. Your card or bank statement will show the charge as 2ND EMPIRE MEDIA (the company behind LenguaChat), not "LenguaChat." Prices are one-time purchases unless stated otherwise.
Translations are produced by third-party translation services and are provided "as is." They can contain errors, miss nuance, or mistranslate slang. LenguaChat is a helper, not a certified or professional translation service. Do not rely on it for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes communication. You are responsible for what you send.
We aim to keep LenguaChat working and to release updates, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted operation, especially when third parties (WhatsApp, translation providers, your browser) change their services. We may update or discontinue features over time.
LenguaChat is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, 2nd Empire Media is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from translation errors, miscommunication, downtime, or data issues. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
